Support Education

Wells Fargo Center for the Arts is guided by its mission; to enrich, educate, and entertain the North Bay community, and it’s no accident that education lies in the middle – in the heart – of our mission statement. Through our education programs we are dedicated to creating successful students, effective teachers, and a connected community.

“We are grateful to our community for their incredible support of our Education Through the Arts programs," said executive director Rick Nowlin. “Because of this support, children can experience live performance – often for the very first time; students from low income families are provided with instruments so they can learn to play music; and teachers discover new methods to incorporate the arts into their classrooms as a dynamic tool for teaching. With these programs we provide the rich educational benefits of the arts – to broaden thinking, inspire creativity, and help students of all ages to excel.”

The Arts Center’s education programs are highly subsidized in order to keep ticket prices low and ensure more children and adults in our community are able to participate. With your help, were able to serve more than 30,000 children and adults annually.
